Raw Chocolate Coconut Truffles

The recipe for these Raw Chocolate Coconut Truffles is fairly easy and they make a great healthier snack option as opposed to some sweet snacks you may buy at the local store. They are very rich so you probably wont be able to eat too many at once which is a good thing ! :) Keep refrigerated so that they hold their shape and dont melt.










  • 3 cups of desicatted coconut 

  • 2 cups of raw virgin coconut oil

  • 2 cups of cocoa powder

  • 1 cup honey

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract or flavouring

  • 1 cup of desicatted coconut to roll and coat the chocolate balls in










  • combine the following ingredients together

    into a bowl and mix them well using hands; 3 cups of desicatted coconut; 2 cups of raw virgin coconut oil; 2 cups of cocoa powder; 1 cup honey; 1 tsp vanilla extract or flavouring

  • once all combined, place the mixture into the freezer for 5/10 minutes so that the mixture firms up and you can make balls that hold together. (You can also put it in the fridge, but it will take longer to firm up)

  • sprinkle a thin layer of the left over 1 cup of desicatted coconut onto a plate. Now use your hands to create your small chocolate truffle balls and roll and coat them in desicatted coconut. Do this until all the mixture is gone and keep adding extra desicatted coconut to the plate as and when you need it.


  • Place the balls in a container or tray of some sort and keep refrigerated!

  • This recipe should make around 12 Large Raw Chocolate Coconut Truffles. The truffles are very rich so making smaller but more truffles is also a good idea
